About The Position

Store Associates support all areas of daily store operations to deliver a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This dynamic, team-based role includes checkout, stocking, bakery and produce support, freshness checks, promotional displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Associates work to productivity standards and follow Lidl’s streamlined processes and operational guidelines while adapting to real-time store needs.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas as store needs require.
Meet productivity goals and follow operational processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including using memorized produce price lookup codes (PLUs).
Respond to customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
