About The Position

Lidl is hiring a full-time Store Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Wake Forest Road location. This dynamic, team-based role supports all parts of daily store operations, including checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setups. Store Associates work at a fast pace, follow structured processes and efficiency standards, and help deliver a customer-focused shopping experience. The position requires frequently lifting, carrying, moving, or sliding products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds and reaching above head height.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 pounds and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce duties according to store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Check freshness in produce and chilled areas and maintain Lidl's quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory-control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
