About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations and provide a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This is a dynamic, team-based role that includes checkout, stocking, bakery and produce tasks, and setting up weekly promotions. Associates work to meet productivity standards and follow Lidl’s operational processes while adapting to changing store needs. The role also involves maintaining product freshness and presentation, keeping store areas clean, supporting accurate inventory and loss prevention, and helping ensure a safe environment for customers and coworkers. Associates collaborate with the team to complete daily work and support smooth operations between shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds.
Ability to reach above head height (10 or more inches) frequently.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, and produce tasks based on store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price lookup codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
