About The Position

This role is responsible for providing a detailed orientation for new hires, teaching and instilling Theisen Brand expectations to new and existing associates with a positive, influential and motivating attitude. The coordinator will ensure associates are familiar with company policies and procedures and will mentor associates on selling skills, product knowledge, and techniques used when dealing with customers and potential problems or issues. The role also involves assisting with required paperwork, keeping proper records of training, and promoting a comfortable work environment by motivating associates through positive communication and accolades.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, decision making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership skills including enthusiasm, diplomacy, courtesy, empathy, and initiative

Nice To Haves

  • 6-12 months of training experience preferred
  • Familiar with onboarding procedures and LMS system functions

Responsibilities

  • Be a “Brand Ambassador” for Theisen’s Home Farm Auto
  • Assist manager as needed with hiring duties such as scheduling interviews, background checks, order uniforms, etc.
  • Perform onboarding functions such as scheduling and conducting new hire orientations
  • Assist with and ensure timely completion of new hire paperwork, follow up on missing items
  • Introduce associate to software such as Dayforce and 8th Street
  • Conduct Brand Expectation meetings and mentor and train associates to assist customers by providing brand quality customer service at all times
  • Carryout training directives received from management or Training Manager
  • Schedule appropriate departmental training and follow up to ensure checklists and hands-on training is completed in a timely manner
  • Assist management with introducing associates to new procedures
  • Monitor ongoing associate training needs and/or requirements, scheduling training time to assure completion
  • Update training documentation as needed
  • Know and utilize the Learning Management System (8th St) to produce reports, complete observation checklists, and monitor associate progress for incentive programs
  • Identify and train on recurring mystery shop issues
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures
  • Perform opening/closing functions when needed
  • May include bookkeeping duties when needed
  • Attend training sessions at the corporate office
  • Other tasks delegated by management include, but aren’t limited to, pricing, signage and cashiering
