The Part-Time Storage Manager helps keep the self-storage property running smoothly while providing helpful, professional customer service. The role balances customer interaction, sales support, administrative tasks, and day-to-day property operations. The manager is expected to take ownership, work independently, follow through, and help customers find suitable storage solutions without being pushy. The position includes collecting payments and maintaining records, answering calls, giving property tours, resolving customer concerns, and communicating with customers, coworkers, and management. It also involves daily property walks, keeping the facility clean and safe, performing light maintenance, opening and closing storage unit doors, and assisting with general property upkeep. Work includes indoor office tasks and outdoor property responsibilities in varying weather conditions. The role requires frequent computer and office-equipment use, communication with customers and team members, and use of locks, gates, and basic tools. Employees may sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
