The Part-Time Storage Manager helps keep a self-storage property running smoothly by providing customer service, supporting sales, and handling day-to-day operations. The role requires taking ownership, working independently, communicating clearly, and solving problems while treating customers professionally and without being pushy. The manager also walks the property to check cleanliness, safety, and upkeep; performs light maintenance and cleaning; opens and closes storage unit doors; and helps maintain the property's appearance. The position includes both indoor office work and outdoor property responsibilities in varying weather. It involves regular communication, frequent computer and office-equipment use, and use of locks, gates, and basic tools. Employees may sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. The employer is committed to valuing different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives and making employment decisions based on qualifications, merit, business needs, and job-related factors.
