About The Position

The Storage Buy Specialist calls storage buy customers and manages the customer storage audit process. The role obtains information needed to manage storage buy orders, monitors orders to ensure delivery within the 14-day window, conducts storage buy audits, and delivers orders in the POS. The position works in a warehouse environment where moving vehicles may be present and noise levels are typically moderate to noisy. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates.
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience.
• Ability to be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.

Responsibilities

• Obtain required customer information to properly manage storage buy orders.
• Manage storage buy orders to ensure orders are delivered within the 14-day window.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly storage buy audits to ensure order and inventory accuracy, following the Storage Buy Audit SOP.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Comply with company safety standard operating procedures for lifting practices.
• Answer the telephone according to established guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
