About The Position

The Storage Buy Specialist calls storage buy customers and manages the customer storage audit process. The role obtains customer information for storage buy orders, manages orders to help ensure delivery within the 14-day window, performs audits to maintain order and inventory accuracy, and delivers customer storage buy orders in POS. The position requires retail sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The employee works frequently in a warehouse environment around moving vehicles, with noise levels that are typically moderate to noisy. The role involves physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects, as well as standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of store management and store associates.
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; often use hands and fingers to handle or feel.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the customer information required to manage storage buy orders.
• Manage storage buy orders to ensure they are delivered within the 14-day window.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly storage buy audits according to the Storage Buy Audit SOP to ensure order and inventory accuracy.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Act and work consistently with the company’s core values.
• Comply with company safety standard operating procedures for lifting practices.
• Answer the telephone according to established guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
