About The Position

All Store Team Members contribute to the company brand by providing excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations. The role primarily focuses on merchandising, but may also include sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months; team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The role involves receiving, organizing, distributing, pulling, and stocking merchandise; building displays and end caps; placing signage; and supporting digital orders and in-store, curbside, and delivery services when assigned. Team members provide personalized customer service, develop product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer training, stay informed about promotions and loyalty programs, and maintain store safety and cleanliness. They must follow applicable alcohol-sale laws and company procedures. Physical duties include walking, bending, standing for extended periods, handling cases and pallets, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds overhead. Outdoor weather exposure may occur.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Provide exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws.
