About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to ensure a positive shopping experience. Positions may be part-time or full-time and generally focus on merchandising, with sales, front-end, or other responsibilities assigned as needed. Internally, this role is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function. The position requires someone age 21 or older and may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year in a retail setting is preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; place signage; and support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services.
Drive and make deliveries if assigned, loading and delivering orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, traffic laws, and safety laws.
Greet customers, engage with them to build relationships, and provide information about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure adherence to applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
