About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. The role generally focuses on merchandising, though team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the role is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a short-term seasonal position lasting no longer than six months; team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position requires flexible scheduling based on business needs, including evenings and weekends. Physical duties include walking, repeatedly bending down, being on your feet for 8–10 hours a day, safely lifting and handling cases and pallets, climbing ladders, and repeatedly lifting 50 pounds overhead. Team members may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions during the workday. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies and procedures and traffic and safety laws.
