About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to ensure a positive shopping experience. Although the role primarily focuses on merchandising, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal role expected to last no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on your feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience; 1 or more years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and traffic and safety laws.
