About The Position

The Stocker Merchandiser maintains shelf stock and department-level merchandising at Goodwill’s Bonney Lake, Washington store. The role places merchandise on the sales floor, sets up displays, stocks the store as directed by management, rotates products according to the store schedule, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and employees. It also involves providing exceptional customer service to a variety of customers. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. The hourly rate is $17.13.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and high integrity; able to solve problems and resolve issues with a positive, can-do approach.
• Ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move up to 30 pounds; close vision is required.

Responsibilities

• Place merchandise on the sales floor and set up displays.
• Maintain a well-merchandised and displayed store.
• Stock the store with merchandise as directed by store management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to a variety of customers.
• Rotate displayed products according to the store’s rotation schedule, including holiday merchandise.
• Maintain a safe working and shopping environment for customers and employees.
• Attend every scheduled shift.
