About The Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Stock Keeper stocks and maintains warehouse inventory so material can be accurately retrieved and delivered to end users when needed. The role supports organized, accurate inventory operations and ensures the right parts and quantities are available to production lines. Work is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere, with possible short-term exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. The employee must maintain knowledge of Haz/Com requirements and follow safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment in designated areas.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate one or more types of lift trucks.
Excellent accuracy when counting inventory.
Ability to use scanners or tablets.
Continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.
Ability to walk, stand, use hands and arms to reach, climb or balance, and talk and hear.
Ability to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.

Responsibilities

Safely operate one or more types of lift trucks to load and unload trailers and transport materials to and from production and support departments.
Verify incoming material.
Stock parts in specified bin locations.
Count inventory accurately.
Pull orders and complete transactions.
Use scanners or tablets.
Move materials within the warehouse and assist with other warehouse activities as directed.
Sweep warehouse floors and organize work areas.
Participate in and support Open Book Management principles and recognize the responsibilities of being a company owner.
Follow safety standards, wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas, and maintain knowledge of Haz/Com requirements.
