Stock Keeper - SRC Logistics
About The Position
The Stock Keeper supports inventory activities at SRC Logistics. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and starts at $17.25 per hour. Work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled atmosphere, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. The employee must maintain knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements and follow safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment in designated areas. The role requires frequent physical activity, including walking, standing, handling objects, reaching, climbing or balancing, and bending or kneeling. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and may need to work at heights exceeding 15 feet.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Competent oral and written communication skills.
- Competent addition and subtraction math skills.
- Competent literacy skills to read tags without transposing part numbers.
- Ability to use scanners and other technology for inventory purposes.
- Powered Industrial Truck experience.
- Must not be afraid of heights and may be required to elevate to heights in excess of 15 feet.
- Demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements.
- Follow safety standards and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.
- Ability to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
