About The Position

The Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role maintains product display signage and price tags, handles damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies, and helps keep the club neat, clean, and organized by removing trash and cardboard. The Stock Clerk follows club policies and procedures, may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed, and is expected to maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

Team members are expected to support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act with honesty and integrity; provide a safe, positive, inclusive environment; work collaboratively; maintain a friendly attitude; and respond to member concerns. The role also supports daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including service excellence, accurate signage, fully stocked merchandise, promotional execution, and clean, organized spaces. Team members should understand how to access and read department performance reporting and recognize how consistent execution affects the business.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous grocery or stock experience is preferred.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including continuous movement and lifting objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, ensuring products are fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply merchandise sales tags so product labels and prices are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including member service, accurate signage, promotional execution, and clean and organized spaces.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
