About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked, clearly labeled, and properly signed. The role also helps keep the club neat, clean, and organized by removing trash and cardboard and performing general housekeeping duties. The clerk follows club policies and procedures and may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food; ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain product display signage; create labels or apply sales tags and ensure labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard and performing general housekeeping.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Support club standards, safe and positive experiences for members and team members, and service excellence.
• Understand how to access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting, and recognize the connection between consistent execution and business results.
