About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food; keeps merchandise fully stocked, clearly labeled, and properly displayed; and helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club. The role includes handling damaged or spoiled products according to company policies, performing housekeeping duties such as removing trash and cardboard, following club policies and procedures, and working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The position also supports member service, safe and positive club experiences, and the club’s daily GOLD standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces for most of the work time.
• Ability to frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, and stoop to examine or scan merchandise.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; may need to lift and move heavier or awkward objects with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, keeping merchandise fully stocked.
• Maintain product display signage and create labels or apply sales tags; ensure labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Deliver member service, address or escalate member concerns, and follow daily GOLD Member Standards.
• Work with the team to meet club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
