Food Runner to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. This role is designated for our restaurant, Stir. We have a part-time position available. The role is an A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and midday shifts. Open/Flexible availability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing guests
  • Assisting with functions of server
  • Delivering food to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently
  • Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment
  • Providing lateral service when necessary
  • Transport food items to the bar, dining room in timely manner and also to the lounge as needed
  • Check the food chit and serve food to guests without asking
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set up and dress code of restaurant
  • Expedite any food items coming out from the exhibition kitchen line and the heart of the house
  • Inspect chinaware for cleanliness (i.e., Finger smudges, spots and sauce spills)
  • Deliver food items to table in a timely manner
  • Present food to the guests with correct items without asking
