About The Position

The Food Runner supports Pearl Beach, a poolside dining destination at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, by providing attentive, personalized service and helping create memorable guest experiences. The role includes preparing and maintaining tables and service areas, serving food and beverages, coordinating with kitchen and service colleagues, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards. The position is part time.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to read and visually verify menu, service, and other work-related information.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain tables and service areas to create an inviting, guest-ready environment.
• Serve food and beverages while engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and providing attentive, personalized service.
• Communicate and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and supplies to established cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support guests, the team, and the overall operation.
• Use initiative and good judgment to anticipate guest needs and resolve service needs in the moment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety practices, and established quality standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and elevated communication and service standards.
• Work collaboratively across the restaurant team to deliver consistent, efficient service.
