About The Position

The Food Runner at Pearl Beach, a poolside dining destination at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami, helps create memorable dining experiences through attentive, personalized service and thoughtful attention to detail. The role supports an inviting, guest-ready dining environment and provides accurate, timely food and beverage service in coordination with the kitchen and restaurant team. It also involves maintaining service areas, equipment, and supplies to established cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards, while following company policies, safety practices, and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including moving across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to read and visually verify menu, service, and other work-related information.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain tables and service areas to create an inviting, guest-ready environment.
• Serve food and beverages while engaging with guests, anticipating needs, and providing attentive, personalized service.
• Communicate and coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and supplies to established cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support guests, the team, and the overall operation.
• Take initiative and use good judgment to anticipate guest needs and resolve service needs in the moment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety practices, and established quality standards.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and consistently demonstrate elevated communication and service standards.
• Work collaboratively across the restaurant team to deliver consistent, efficient service.
