About The Position

Responsible for the delivery of items from kitchen, storage rooms, coolers, and freezers. This role involves maintaining a neat and professional appearance, setting up locations based on event guidelines, and adhering to established par stock levels. The Food Runner must maintain an awareness of rotating product, minimize waste, and be mindful of product costs. Familiarity with liquor liability laws and obtaining proper food handling and alcohol service training and certifications are essential. The position also includes assisting in concessions or bar areas, organizing storerooms, ensuring correct food and beverage temperatures, receiving and storing supplies, reporting needed repairs, and properly storing equipment after events. The Food Runner must also maintain awareness of all functions, events, and meetings, assist in bar setup and closing, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a state alcohol server certificate and Food Handlers certification.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
  • Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must be able to perform all essential functions of job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Responsible for location set-up based on event guidelines.
  • Deliver items from kitchen, storage rooms, coolers, and freezers.
  • Adhere to established par stock levels.
  • Maintain an awareness of rotating product, minimize waste, and be mindful of cost of products.
  • Must be familiar with all policies related to liquor liability laws.
  • Obtains proper food handling and alcohol service training and certifications.
  • Assists in concessions or bar areas as needed such as filling up condiments, point of purchase displays, stocking shelves with product, wiping down surfaces.
  • Organizes storerooms as assigned.
  • Ensures correct temperatures of hot and cold food and beverage products.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores all supplies and goods, ensuring stock is accounted for.
  • Reports all needed repairs to supervisor.
  • Removes all product from stands and returns them to storage areas when event ends. All equipment must be cleaned and stored properly at this time.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
  • Maintain an awareness of all functions, events, and meetings taking place at any given time.
  • Assist in bar setup and opening.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in closing Bar.
  • Stocking the bar stations to par.
