About The Position
New Albany Country Club, a prestigious private Country Club in beautiful scenic New Albany, Ohio, is now accepting resumes for part-time food runners to join their team. The Food Runner acts as the contact person between the kitchen and the dining room and assists servers in providing excellent food and beverage service to New Albany Country Club members and guests. The ideal candidate is driven to make a positive impact on the organization continuously and believes that, as a team, we accomplish more.
Requirements
- Must be 17 years of age
- Must have a flexible work schedule to include holidays, nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Assisting and providing service to members and guests
- Promptly clearing and resetting all tables
- Running food from the kitchen, checking the accuracy of quality and quantity
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness by cleaning tables and chairs
- Sweeping floor under tables as part of the table resetting process
- Supporting the service team by polishing silverware in a timely manner
- Serving bread and butter
- Pouring water when the table is sat and continuously throughout the shift
- Assisting servers in any capacity necessary to make the shift run smoothly
- Memorization of Food Menus and appropriate condiments served with each dish
