About The Position

The Steward is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, supplies, and equipment at the David Rubenstein Forum, a University-wide facility for scholarly and academic events. The Forum supports talks, workshops, conferences, special events, and meetings, and its building has a sustainable design target of LEED Gold.

Pyramid Global Hospitality manages more than 200 hotels and resorts and has over 18,000 associates across the United States, Caribbean, and Europe. Compensation for this position is $20 per hour; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Load dirty dishes into the dishwasher as needed.
• Follow proper scraping, sorting, and stacking procedures to minimize breakage.
• Ensure the dishwasher is cleaning properly.
• Keep the work station clean and organized at all times.
• Ensure dishes are clean and sanitized.
• Stack and store dishes properly in their assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen as needed, including during meal periods or as directed by a supervisor.
• Clean kitchen walls and ceiling as needed.
• Inspect and refill paper towels and hand soap at wash basins throughout the kitchen and in associate restrooms.
