About The Position

The Steward supports the culinary team and helps maintain clean, organized, and efficient kitchen and dishwashing operations at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. The role involves washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; assisting with food preparation and plating as needed; and ensuring food and supplies are handled and stored properly. The Steward follows food safety and sanitation guidelines and works collaboratively with team members to maintain a smooth workflow. Success in this role requires a positive, energetic attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift 25 or more pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
