STEWARD (PART TIME)
About The Position
Culinaire is hiring a part-time Steward at Meyerson in Dallas, Texas. The role maintains kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following sanitation and safety standards. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; further details may be provided during the interview. The pay rate is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. Culinaire provides upscale food and beverage management services to national accounts, including art museums, cultural landmarks, hotels, performing theaters, restaurants, and special event venues. Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other assigned food preparation surfaces.
- Separate and remove trash and garbage, place it in designated containers, and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and food preparation machines and equipment.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while observing safe lifting standards.
- Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
