About The Position

Culinaire is hiring a part-time Steward at Shula's 347 Grille in Lake Mary, Florida. The position maintains kitchen work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition while following sanitation and safety requirements. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. Days and hours may vary; open availability, including nights, is required. Culinaire provides upscale food and beverage management services to national accounts and emphasizes associates’ career paths, safety, and success, as well as high-quality food and service for clients and guests.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Operate large electric equipment, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other assigned food-preparation surfaces.
Separate and remove trash and garbage, place it in designated containers, and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food-preparation machines and equipment.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while following safe-lifting standards.
Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
