About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a steward. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They must be a team player with a strong work ethic, capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Physical stamina, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. Requirements
- 3-6 months experience preferred
- Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations
- Carry and balance trays of beverages
- Lift up to 25 - 30 lbs
- Stand for long periods
- Navigate crowded spaces
- Flexibility in bending and reaching
- Adaptability to casino conditions, including: Bright lights Noise
Nice To Haves
- High School/ GED preferred
- Bi-lingual is a plus
Responsibilities
- Scraping and cleaning dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or using an automatic dishwasher
- Washing pots, pans, and trays
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors
- Removing all trash from kitchen areas
- Ensuring the dish room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Providing excellent service to both internal and external guests, maintaining a professional and helpful attitude at all times
- Supporting overall kitchen operations
