About The Position

The Barback position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient bar operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role involves maintaining stock levels, ensuring a constant supply of necessary items, keeping the bar area clean and organized, and supporting the bar team as needed. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Openness to feedback and a strong work ethic are key traits. Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required. The role is for the 2nd Shift at Asia Azteca.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 6 months of related experience
Bilingualism is preferred but not required
Ability to manage high-volume and stressful situations effectively
Excellent communication skills for providing exceptional guest service
Comfortable working in a casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25-30 pounds
Endurance to walk and stand throughout assigned shifts
Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain established stock levels by transporting cases of beverages from walk-in coolers to the bar.
Prepare requisitions as needed.
Ensure a constant supply of ice, glassware, and drink garnishes.
Rotate fresh fruit to maintain quality.
Keep all areas of the bar clean and organized.
Restock kegs in the walk-in coolers.
Rotate bottled beer in reach-in coolers.
Empty trash bins in the bar area and ensure proper disposal.
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.
