About The Position

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of dishes, kitchen areas, food-preparation equipment, and utensils at SoFi Stadium. The role includes washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashers; cleaning and storing equipment; sweeping and mopping kitchen floors; and transporting food and equipment throughout the venue as needed. Stewards must maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, regulations, and training requirements.

The position requires working venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Employees must be able to perform tasks involving constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods, as well as lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and climb ladders. SoFi Stadium Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• California Food Handler Certification.
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• Union membership is a condition of employment under the Unite Here Local 11 collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Wash china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashers.

• Transport food and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.
