About The Position

The Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining and cleaning the inventory of small wares, utensils, and kitchen supplies. This role also involves keeping the work area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary, and ensuring safe and sanitary working conditions for kitchen personnel.

Requirements

Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in service-oriented environment.
Ability to get along well with others
Ability to receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner
Positive customer service oriented attitude at all times
Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards
Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
Attention to detail
Must be able to work standing for the duration of shift
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Keep all dishes, small wares, and utensils cleaned.
Organize and maintain proper inventory of small wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies and equipment, reordering when necessary.
Clean and properly maintain working areas and equipment in kitchen.
Organize and properly store perishables for cooks and receiving and issuing clerks.
Follow all rules and regulations of ASM Global Food & Beverage.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
