About The Position

SRI Healthcare, LLC, a subsidiary of NOVO Health Services, provides sustainable reusable sterile packs and healthcare linens to hospitals. The Sterilizer Operator role is based at the Mason, Ohio Healthcare Laundry facility. The successful candidate performs sterilization work in compliance with written Standard Operating Procedures, maintains accurate records, and communicates with Quality and Production Supervisors. Requirements

Be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Be capable of keeping precise records.
Be able to diagnose minor sterilizer operating problems.
Have good computer skills.
Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Be able to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
Have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Follow written Standard Operating Procedures.
Use barcode scanners and/or a computer to assign wrapped packs to sterilizer lot loads.
Operate sterilizers and ensure that controls and printouts are working properly.
Maintain and transfer appropriate sterilization records and documentation to Quality Control.
Communicate openly and effectively with Quality and Production Supervisors.
Load sterilizer carts with wrapped packs.
Monitor sterilizers and assist with their maintenance.
Keep sterilizers and the surrounding work area neat and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
