About The Position

We are seeking highly skilled STEM and scientific-domain experts to contribute to an AI training project involving technical problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and Python. The work involves solving, reviewing, and validating challenging problems within the expert’s area of expertise. Tasks may involve analyzing a scientific or mathematical problem, developing a rigorous solution, using Python for calculations or simulations, and evaluating whether an AI-generated answer is technically correct. This is a coding-heavy role, and candidates must have experience using coding agents in their workflow. Candidates need deep expertise in at least one relevant discipline, including chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, earth science, geoscience, environmental science, or robotics. Adjacent scientific or quantitative disciplines may also be considered when directly relevant. Expertise may come from academic research, industry, teaching, engineering, independent technical work, or other demonstrated experience; a specific degree or number of years of experience is not strictly required if strong expertise can be demonstrated. The role is fully remote and global, with a flexible schedule of approximately 15 hours per week. Experts choose their working hours and days, including weekends if desired. Compensation is output-based, with payment per task that meets project specifications, and minimum submission requirements apply. The selection process includes an application and screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, and a hiring manager review. Selected candidates are expected to start their first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in at least one relevant STEM or scientific domain.
  • Practical proficiency with Python or other coding languages.
  • Experience using coding agents in the workflow.
  • Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Biology is listed under Required Skills.
  • Ability to meet minimum task submission requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with relevant Python tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or domain-specific scientific libraries; no particular Python library is mandatory.
  • Expertise in chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, earth science, geoscience, environmental science, robotics, or a directly relevant adjacent scientific or quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex scientific, mathematical, or technical problems within the area of expertise.
  • Review AI-generated solutions for factual, mathematical, and scientific correctness.
  • Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, missing constraints, and subtle technical mistakes.
  • Use Python or other coding languages for technical problem-solving, calculations, or simulations as appropriate.
