About The Position

Mathematics Experts contribute to an AI training project involving advanced mathematical problem-solving, computational mathematics, numerical methods, and Python. The work includes creating, solving, reviewing, and validating mathematical tasks that can be completed through programmatic, command-line-based workflows. Tasks may involve translating mathematical problems into computational procedures, implementing equations or algorithms, calculating reproducible results, testing special cases, and assessing whether results are mathematically and numerically valid. Experts use Python and command-line-accessible tools to automate calculations, conduct numerical experiments and parameter sweeps, create visualizations, and validate results. Compensation is output-based: experts are paid per task that meets project specifications, and minimum submission requirements apply. Task completion time can vary according to the expert’s experience and workflow. Selected candidates are expected to start their first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.

Requirements

  • An MS or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computational Science, Theoretical Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field; alternatively, a BS in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field plus at least 1–2 years of mathematics-focused professional or research experience in top companies or institutions.
  • Strong expertise in at least one mathematical area, such as applied mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, algebra, geometry, mathematical modeling, or dynamical systems.
  • Mathematics skills.
