About The Position

The Mechanical Engineering Expert will contribute to an AI training project involving engineering design, physical modeling, simulation, technical problem-solving, and Python. The work includes creating, solving, reviewing, and validating engineering tasks across structural, thermal, mechanical, and multiphysics domains. Tasks may involve translating physical requirements into computational models, generating geometry or meshes, applying materials and boundary conditions, running engineering simulations, and assessing whether the resulting artifacts and analyses meet applicable physical and design constraints. This is a coding-heavy contractor role requiring practical proficiency with coding agents. Compensation is output-based, with payment per task that meets project specifications; task completion time may vary, and minimum submission requirements apply. Selected candidates are expected to begin their first task within 24–48 hours after onboarding.

Requirements

• An MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, or a strong understanding of applied mechanics and mechanical-engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based engineering solutions.
• Practical proficiency with coding agents.
• Python skills.
• Mechanical Engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve and validate mechanical-engineering problems involving design, analysis, simulation, testing, or R&D.
• Translate physical systems and engineering requirements into analytical or computational models.
