About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Classes typically run in 60-minute blocks between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The specific days and class dates are to be determined. This position offers a compensation of $65 per hour of class, with compensation also provided for assignments such as mini-camps and field trips.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
• Knowledge and passion for STEAM subjects.
• Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to prepare and organize program materials.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a teacher or camp counselor.
• Background in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics.
• Experience with curriculum development.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities
