About The Position
The STEAM - After School Instructor will teach K-5th grade students in various STEAM programs including 3D Printing, Aviation, Little Detectives, Wild Side, Survival Science, Makers Club, Wacky Science, and Little Engineers. The program runs from October to November, with classes held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bronx, NY 10468 site.
Requirements
- Experience teaching or instructing children.
- Knowledge of STEAM subjects.
- Ability to manage a classroom of K-5th grade students.
- Availability on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Must be able to work from October to November.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with specific STEAM programs listed (3D Printing, Aviation, etc.).
- Experience in an after-school program setting.
Responsibilities
- Teach STEAM programs to K-5th grade students.
