About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to teach our 3D Printing & Lego Robotics program for students in grades K-5. This role involves leading hands-on activities and fostering a love for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in a fun and educational after-school setting.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade range.
- Familiarity with 3D printing technology and Lego robotics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and lead activities.
- Passion for STEAM education.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Knowledge of curriculum development for STEAM programs.
- Experience with specific Lego Mindstorms or similar robotics platforms.
- Experience with various 3D modeling software.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3D Printing and Lego Robotics concepts to K-5th grade students.
- Lead engaging and interactive after-school classes.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Adapt curriculum to different age groups and learning styles.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class progress and any issues.
