About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead classes for K-5th grade students. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The instructor will be responsible for delivering curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a love for learning in a fun and supportive environment. Classes are held on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in Los Altos, CA.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a K-5th grade age range.
• Knowledge and passion for STEAM subjects.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be available on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a teacher or camp counselor.
• Background in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Mathematics.
• Experience with curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct STEAM-focused classes for students in grades K-5.
