About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead our Wacky Science program for K-1st graders. This role involves facilitating hands-on science activities and fostering a love for learning in a fun and interactive environment. The instructor will be responsible for delivering the curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring a safe and positive learning experience for all students.
Requirements
- Experience working with young children (K-1st grade).
- Passion for STEAM education and science.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in teaching science or related subjects.
- Background in STEAM fields.
- Familiarity with after-school programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct K-1st grade students in STEAM-focused activities, specifically the Wacky Science program.
