About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and engaging STEAM After School Instructor to lead our 3D Printing & Robotics program for 6th-8th graders. This role involves teaching students during after-school hours from September to November. The instructor will be responsible for delivering hands-on lessons and fostering a love for STEAM subjects.
Requirements
- Experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8).
- Knowledge and experience in 3D Printing and Robotics.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be available to teach on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September to November.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Edison robotics.
- Background in STEAM education.
- Experience with after-school programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3D Printing & Robotics to 6th-8th graders.
- Conduct classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Engage students in hands-on projects and activities.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the program curriculum.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
