About The Position

Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, rotating seating fairly and consistently from station to station. The role involves helping maintain table availability, assisting wait staff and bus persons as needed, answering phones, and providing helpful, attentive service to guests. This is a part-time position on the swing shift in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week restaurant environment with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Starting rate is $13.75. Minimum age requirement is 16. A Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Card is required.

Requirements

Minimum age of 16 years.
Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Card.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Customer-service-oriented and team-oriented.
Flexible and adaptable.
Able to follow procedures and work in a busy restaurant atmosphere.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Determine guests’ needs and seat them accordingly while maintaining seating rotation requirements.
Monitor restaurant table availability and arrange tables and chairs as necessary.
Assist wait staff and bus persons as necessary or as required, including refilling drinks, helping pre-bus, and attending to guests’ needs.
Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
Recognize VIP guests and relay that information to other team members.
Listen and pay attention to verbal and non-verbal communication.
Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
Walk guests to their desired location and introduce them to the employee who will assist them.
Take ownership and demonstrate an “It’s my job” attitude.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
