About The Position

The Steakhouse Food Server receives and serves food and beverage orders from guests, providing friendly and courteous service. The role uses a computerized guest check system to process orders, retrieves prepared orders from the kitchen, and delivers them to guests. The server may collect payments and make change, presents checks, and either collects payment or delivers it to the cashier. The position also involves carrying and balancing trays or pushing food and beverage carts through the kitchen and dining room, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining room.

Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must be able to use a computer system to place food and beverage orders and process payments.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses or certifications.

Nice To Haves

Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
