About The Position

The Station Attendant at Switchgrass Landing maintains a pleasant guest experience by inspecting dishes and keeping the station area clean. The role includes providing friendly guest service, expediting and checking food for presentation, preparation, temperature, and timely service, and maintaining clean buffet stations and a safe work environment. The attendant also maintains buffet food temperatures and freshness, sets up and breaks down the buffet, and communicates positively with staff. Other duties may be assigned by a Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask.
• Able to routinely lift and carry 25 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean for extended periods during daily work.
• State-issued Food Handler's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to all guests.
• Greet guests pleasantly and with a smile.
• Expedite food by inspecting dishes for visual appeal, proper preparation, correct serving temperature, and timely service.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment, including sweeping, vacuuming, wiping areas and glass, and cleaning buffet stations.
• Maintain knowledge of dining room service procedures, table numbers, and the food and beverage menu.
• Maintain food temperatures and freshness on the buffet.
• Communicate effectively and positively with staff to demonstrate teamwork.
• Set up and break down the buffet in a timely manner.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
