About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the STNA delivers direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting as directed. The role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with day and night shifts available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered or licensed in the applicable State and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
