About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant provides a safe environment, emotional and social support, and care for residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility. The role performs direct resident care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and supervisor direction, follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies, and maintains standards of practice established by the community’s administration and nursing policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by community representatives. This is a full-time opportunity in North Royalton, Ohio. The listed shift is 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; program details may vary by building. Facility-specific benefit plans are available through HR.

Requirements

Hold a current nursing assistant certification registry in good standing under the applicable state laws, or otherwise meet the state’s requirements to work as a nursing assistant.
Have a high school diploma or GED, or be actively enrolled in a high school program.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe environment and emotional and social support to residents.
Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility.
Perform direct care according to residents’ care plans and supervisor direction.
Follow health, sanitation, and infection-control policies.
Maintain standards of practice established by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Perform other duties as directed by community representatives.
