About The Position

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role is an important part of the interdisciplinary team and contributes to the organization’s commitment to quality patient care. Daily work includes providing direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting as directed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered or licensed in the applicable State; must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintained as current during employment.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.

Nice To Haves

• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Benefits

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.
• $2,500 sign-on bonus for part-time positions.
• $1 per hour shift differential.
• $1 per hour attendance bonus on top of base pay.
