About The Position
This is a part-time instructor pool position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The instructor will be responsible for teaching stagecraft, which includes design and technology in a theatrical setting. Applicants must demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of diverse student backgrounds.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years professional experience, or sixteen theatrical productions, in an educational or professional setting in the desired design/technology area.
- Associate’s degree plus six years professional experience in an educational or professional setting in the desired design/technology area.
- A valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
- Equivalent qualifications.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
