About The Position
This is a part-time instructor pool position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves teaching physics courses and requires sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics.
- OR bachelor’s degree in physics or astronomy AND master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, meteorology, or geophysics.
- OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
- OR the equivalent.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
