About The Position

This is a part-time instructor pool position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves teaching Spanish at the community college level, requiring sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds.

Requirements

• Master’s in Spanish, or Spanish Language & Literature or Spanish Literature [locally approved at MiraCosta College]; OR bachelor’s degree in Spanish, or Spanish Language & Literature or Spanish Literature [locally approved at MiraCosta College] AND master’s degree in another language or linguistics; OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area. OR the equivalent.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
